Hmm, I had to look this up myself...a crocodile has a tooth that's visible when its mouth is closed and a pointy, V-shaped snout. An alligator's teeth can't be seen when his mouth is closed and has a rounder, U-shaped snout. And now you know...and knowing is half the battle!
